Parish History
Many of you will remember the two books that were published by the Parish Council almost ten years ago – “Witley and Milford in Living Memory,” and "The History of Witley, Milford and Surrounding Area”.
The Parish Council has published updated versions of both books. The original authors, Elizabeth Forster and Valerie Box, have completed the revision work.
They can be ordered now from the Parish Council office at the very reasonable price of £7.50 each. We have only printied a strictly limited number. So, if you want to be sure of getting your copies, place your order as soon as possible!
Many charities, schools and churches organise fundraising events in the run-up to Christmas. The Parish Council would like to support their efforts. We are therefore offering such organisations the chance to acquire the books for £5 each which they can then resell at a profit to raise funds.
Any organisation wishing to take advantage of this scheme should contact the Parish Council as soon as possible to place their order.
