From 18th December, Lea Coach Road will be closed from time to time whilst road works are taking place on the A3. During this time if you wish to access the A3 from the Haslemere Road (or vice versa) you will need to cross the A3 at the Milford junction to get to your destination.
The notice from Surrey County Council follows:
SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Lea Coach Road (D0142), Thursley.
The Order is required to assist Enterprisemouchel in junction works with the A3. These works are anticipated to be carried out within two weeks of the six-month period of operation of the Order, which commences on 18th December 2010. The closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles at all times, access to properties will be granted via the southern entrance to Lea Coach Road (D0142).
South-eastbound traffic will be diverted north-west via Portsmouth Road (A3), Thursley Junction Off Slip (A3), Thursley Junction (C30), Old Portsmouth Road (A3), Portsmouth Road (A3) northbound, Milford By-Pass (A3), Link Road (A283), Guildford Road (A283), Cherry Tree Road (A283), Haslemere Road (A286) to the south-eastern end of the temporary closure.
North-westbound traffic will be diverted north-east via Haslemere Road (A286), Cherry Tree Road (A283), Portsmouth Road (A3100), and Portsmouth Road (A3) to the north-western end of the temporary closure.
