Planning & Highways

The Planning & Highways group meets remotely, via Zoom, every three weeks on a Wednesday to consider planning applications.

The Parish Council’s role is to inspect planning applications submitted to Waverley Borough Council, the statutory planning authority, and to comment on the applications. The Parish Council is not the statutory planning authority, but our comments are given consideration by Waverley Borough Council.

Members of the public are welcome to speak at our Planning & Highways meetings. They may speak either in support or opposition to an application.
