Milford Cemetery

Milford Cemetery is situated on the Haslemere Road, Milford, Surrey GU8 5BN. This is adjacent to the National Trust car park for Milford Common.

The cemetery has a dedicated ashes area as well as lawn areas for burials.

Please be advised that due to reducing capacity at Milford Cemetery the Council have decided, with immediate effect, that they will no longer accept new burials for out of parish persons and will no longer accept pre-purchases for full burials or ashes. All new grave purchases will be at point of need. The Council will honour all existing pre-purchases and reopens for those outside of parish and will accept burials for those individuals who lived in the parish prior to moving to a nearby care home/hospital prior to their death.

Please note that we do not arrange for grave digging, this is the responsibility of the Funeral Director. In addition we do not supply or arrange for the manufacture of headstones & memorial tablets. These should be sourced via your Funeral Director or a NAMM qualified stonemason.  Please note the Cemetery is a traditional country churchyard and as such all memorials must be appropriate for the setting, and require a permit from us to ensure they comply with our cemetery regulation specifications.
